The week long celebration began on Monday and con- tinued thru Thursday with the cheerleaders conducting pep rallies in each of the four elementary schools. Each Junior High School and each high school class selected an at- tendant to represent them. The attendants then selected their escorts. On Friday eve- ning the volunteer pep band, chorus and pep club members boarded the school bus and pick up trucks for the parade thru all the communities of the Southern Local School District. The parade was led by the band and the queen's court. The chorus and pep club sang and cheered as we paraded. By Cheerleaders Bill Tharp, Steve Pompey, Mike Trovato, Ken Williams, Scott Josephson, Rich West. Players of the Year Characters Cindy Baker and Pattie Bray Miss Universe Contestants Steve Pompey, Ken Williams, Bill Tharp. coming the time we arrived back at the school for the bonfire and pep rally, we had added many cars and trucks to The Falcon Motor- cade. As we look back on this week's high- lights, we will undoubtedly remember the happenings surrounding the sign left by the dirty bird who burned our bonfire late one night. The climax came on Sautrday with the Fal- cons meeting the Bishops of Rosecrans High School. Half-time ceremonies included the presentation and crowning of the Queen and her court. Saturday evening the National Assembly played for the Homecoming Dance. Pep Band Pep Band Queen Diana and Her Attendants Queen Diana, Escort Rick, and Co-Captains Ken and Bill.
