« Robert L. Riepenhoff 1967-84 IN MEMORY OF BOB Life is a tangled web of people- relationships'' woven by God. People enter our lives and touch us, adding to our scrapbooks of memories, and then they leave before we are through knowing and loving them. How can we know when the time for goodbye is near? How can we know who we are seeing or speaking to for the last time? How can you halt your life to hold those who are dearest to you near? God is our creator and the loving weaver of our life web. He is the center of it, where all of us begin and where we end. In the same way that Bob was a farmer; a harvester of crops, gathering the best grain that he could grow, so God is a harvester, gathering His best children to be near Him. Even though in the context of time, Bob's life was very short, the path God wove for him was long and intertwined with many people. Those who knew him realize how many friends he had, and how many people he touched with his easy going personality and that goofy smile he gave so freely. Bob, we just want you to know that we love you so very much. You have permanently affected our personalities and our lives. We know that God is happy to have you with Him, so until we can see you again, we will be content with the knowledge that you are in His care, and that the worries and troubles of this world will never touch you.
