The 1982-83 basketball season provided the people of our school district with much excitement and a great deal of success. Our boys captured another sectional championship enroute to their second consecutive district appearance. Our season ended with a heartbreaking 59-57 loss to Ottoville, but we still finished with an excellent 19-4 record. Although we have some good players returning next year to carry on the winning tradition at Miller City, gone are five seniors that we will miss very much. These graduates are Jeff Vennekotter, Norm Gerten, Ned Kreinbrink, Jay Meyer, and Dale Lammers. These young men were not only fine athletes, but quality people. They were instrumental in the successes of many programs in the Miller City High School. We are confident that these gentlemen will continue to succeed, but we would like them to do so with our best wishes. 29
