BRRRRRRING . . . Morning bell, and everyone rushes to get to class. So much happens in the morning, such as the Home Ec. and Vo Ag switch during vocational week. Picture this . . . Guys in the kitchen of the Home Ec. room baking, and better yet, picture the girls in the Vo Ag room cutting wood. Hard to believe? We thought so! One great thing was the morning assemblies. This meant that we students got out of those long hard classes. We were entertained by country western singers, actors who put on a one act play, and football player Ken Ellis. Also the National Honor Society sponsored a Blood Drive. Oh! My goodness! The bell’s gonna ring so we can all go to lunch. BRRRRRRING . . . 6

AN Oh! no, late again! How many time have you said this as you leap out of bed? Now you have to take a shower, wash hair, brush teeth, get dressed, and run out the door as the bus is coming down the road. Once on the bus, you try to catch up on some of those Zzzz’s. The driver, though, has other plans. He purposely hits every bump, pothole, or tree limb to make sure no one sleeps. Then at school you throw your books in the locker and lunge on the nearest heater to seek warmth in this frozen tundra. The teachers, meanwhile, are downing their last megadoses of caffeine before they have to face their morning class. Some of the teachers, however, are convinced that the walls are unsturdy. Every morning one can find these few holding up the walls of Miller City High School. Well, once agains the first bell has rung, and everyone is trudging off to class for another day of — learning?
