MILLER CITY HIGH SCHOOL Miller City, Ohio MCAnn Marilyn Schroeder, Editor SWSScr Dedication With deep affection and sincere gratitude, we the class of 1957 wish to dedicate this annual to our loving and understanding parents. It has been through their competent guidance that we have been able to progress to our present status. In addition to assuming their role of parent, many have other com- mendable part-time jobs to display, such as teaching, driving and school bus, serving on the school board, and fulfilling their duty as an officer of the P. T. A. They will not only be remembered by us as loyal parents, but as guides who have helped construct the frame for our future success. Because of their constant insistence to do even the smallest task correctly, we feel that we will be able to cope with the coming problems. For all these able assistances, we extend our heartiest appreciations. They can be assured that no one could have done better, either in the way of their help in the school, or for their never-ending portrayal of parental love. 2 Table of Contents Calendar............................................Page 4 Faculty And Administration..........................Page 5 Seniors ........................................... Ka-CHOOOOOOOOO Cupid In Pigtails When Mabelle McAdams and her three children move to a new location, they find themselves in a mad murderers former home. Everyone is in a frenzy when they find the murderer has escaped from the insane asylum. In the mean- time, however, Suzy McAdams, a dynamic twelve year old, is concerned about her mother's romantic life. Rollo Sappleton, and Murchison Fogg are two prospective suitors. But as the play progresses, Suzy manages to get her mother and Carter Prescott, Mabelle's teenage sweetheart, together. Moreover, there are more romances weaved into this delightful mystery comedy. All in all the evening added up to plenty of laughs and many suspenseful moments. Have They Brained You? ? Who Wouldn’t Be Crazy It was a bit of a jolt to Speedy Marshall to find himself locked up in an asylum, but when he found the beautiful Lois Meredith and her friends rehearsing a play for the inmates, he decided he was glad to stay. Besides, excitement develops very quickly, for a pair of crooks are on hand and pull off a jewel robbery and kidnapping! Speedy, for once, gets to go as fast as he wants to in capturing these crooks and rescuing their victim. The in- terest is tense, each act has a clever curtain, there are two delightful romances, and plenty of laugh lines and amusing business. It all added up to a marvelous evening of farcical fun. ■aid At The Prom Odds and Ends HOME-EC GIRLS' QUARTET BOOKKEEPING fcl  tail' Ha.l Office Girls STANDING: Left To Right; A. Schmenk, B.
