FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS LIBBY MAILAND TO: MEXICO Libby Mailand was Milledgeville’s foreign exchange student this past year. She stayed in Chihuahua. Chi- huahua. Libby left on August 26. 1981 and returned May 28. 1982. liro Man a, from Rauma, Finland, was 16 years old when he arrived for a year’s study in Milledgeville. liro’s father owns and manages his own box factory, liro has 1 brother who went to Wisconsin as a foreign exchange student last year, liro also has 3 sisters. According to liro a Friday or Saturday night consists of a party or going to a movie in Finland, liro’s favorite hobby is sailing. He participated in the track team. His event was shot- put. liro says that school in Finland is harder than school here, liro has 2 mores years of High School and then has to enlist in the Navy for a year. He may go to college in the U.S. after he is through with his term, liro plans on coming back to visit Milled- geville and his friends. 26
