Head Mrs. Joan Lufkin Business A NEW ASSET g TO MHS s. Gail Fairbanks, a graduate of Framingham State College, has been at Millbury High School as an art teacher for three years. A very talented teacher, she gained her Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art, with a minor in Education. Ms. Fairbanks, however, has proven to be more than a teacher of art here at MHS. In her first year, she ventured to take on the great responsibility of the Class of 1989’s co-advisor. She showed how much she wanted to become involved with the students. Her care and devotion was evident from the beginning, and we, as the Class of 1989, would like to extend a warm “thank you” to Ms. Fairbanks for all of her work at Millbury Memori- al High School. yt

We had one of the best — Mrs. Fran Dupont. Disregard- ing the fact that she was al- ready heavily involved with Student Council, teaching, and using her computer skills to help run the school, she bravely vol- unteered to take on one more challenge, perhaps her greatest: being advisor to the Class of 1989. A gra- duate of Worcester State College with a Master’s Degree from WPI, she marks her twentieth year at Millbury High School in 1989. Throughout our four years at MHS, she has helped us to pull off near miracles when we needed her most. Her hard work and endless energy have helped us through many rough times. We will have many fond memories of the good times we had, and of her bouyant personality. It is because of this that we, the class of 1989, wish to extend our warmest “thank you” and our best wishes to Mrs. Du- pont, someone who truly cares.
