On December 13th and 14th, the music department and the Drama Club presented “The Sound of Music’’. The play was directed by Mr. Desrosiers and Mrs. Silvernail. Mr. Bruno conducted the orchestra, and Miss Oroszko choreographed the dances. The Seniors involved in this production were Gregg Woodward as Captain von Trapp, Pamela Cardin as the Mother Superior, and Lisa Murray, Robin Ingalls, Evie Griffin, Meg White, Lorraine Gauthier, and Brennan Wall. Cheryl Greene played the part of Maria, Matt Cadorette played Max, and Deborah Wade played Elsa. The Drama Club’s spring production was a comedy called ‘The Mouse That Roared” —a two act play that involved a small backwards country called the Duchy of Grand Fenwick, that declares war against the United States of America. . . and wins! Under the direction of Mr. Desrosiers, the cast included seniors Robin Ingalls, Gregg Woodward, and Bob Hamilton. Other members were Steven Laliberte, Deborah Wade, Matt Cadorette, Michael Cassidy, and Frank McNamara. Freshman Sherry Conger was the stage manager for the first time.
