The first United Nations General Assembly met in january of 1946. At that time, the present seniors of Millburn High School were just ten years old. In a sense, we and the United Nations have matured together. We have both grown up in an era when, because of modern methods of travel, the world seems smallerg yet the breach between nations is be- coming ever wider because of the lack of international understanding. -1. It is our hope that, by uniting in a common effort and striving for mutual ideals, we, too, may make some contribution to the cause of world peace.
