Mascots DONNIE BRUCE CAROL COCKMAN Class Poem FAREWELL As these four years come to an end, Our hearts are a little sad To say farewell to a dear old friend And all of the fun we ' ve had. Now we leave with a heavy heart The school we love so dear, But there will always be a part Of us - that will seem to linger here. The joyous memories we have shared We ' ll cherish through the years. For they can never be compared. Through sorrow, joy, -or trouble’s tears. Our high school days will forever be The years we will never regret; The work, the fun, we ' U forever see And our class - We’ll never forget. To those who have strived to guide us - Our parents, our teachers, our friends - You will always walk here beside us, For your patience and love never ends. No more through these halls will we wander, No more will we walk hand in hand; But in memories we ' ll be together Forever — united - - we stand. Though the road to success we may travel, Though our lives be filled with despair; As the secret of life may unravel, We look onward to the sky far up there. May your colors always be flying In all you seek and strive. Leading us always and ever, Leaving your mem ' ry alive. But even though we must leave you, Remember this class long and well. Our hearts will ever be with you! Over the years as your students excel. Keep your banner forever on high! CLASS OF ' 58 Betty Rose King Class Poet
