FOREWORD As you, the Millboro students, turn the pages of the 1958 Spur, you will recall many memories of your school days and the activities of Millboro High. May these memories remain with us as the years go by and may we always remember and appreciate the efforts of the teachers who have so patiently helped us. Since Millboro was organized as a standard high school in 1916, when the old building was erected and equipped, progress has been steady. In 1918 the school was accredited by the State Board of Education. The new building and heating plant were constructed in 1933. Four new depart- ments have been added since the organiza- tion. Vocational Agriculture, Home Eco- nomics, Business Education, and Music. Later a community cannery was put in operation. Millboro has sent out over five hundred graduates during the forty-one years of its history.
