foreword As you, the Millboro students, turn the pages of this book and see again the activities of Millboro High, we hope that you will be reminded of progressive inspiration and knowledge gained during your school days. For the elementary pupil the long trend upward looks almost impossible, and for the seniors the advance seems only an approach to greater achievement. We hope that you will think of your experiences at Millboro as the beginning toward a full and rich life. Since Millboro was organized as a standard, high school in 1916, when the old building was erected and equipped, progress has been steady. In 1618 the school was accredited by the State Board of Education. The new building and heating plant were constructed in 1933. Three new departments have been added since the organization. Vocational Agriculture, Home Economics, and Business Education. Later a community cannery was put in operation. Mill- boro has sent out nearly five hundred graduates during the forty years of its history.
