Bill is really eapable of going plaees in football next year: he is alert in barking up the line and ean always find a hole in the line 'to plow through. Sophomores Frank Jeppe-Right Taekle-lst year out and an AA letter. VVhen he got mad there was no player that could stop him George St0ne-l1'ullbaek-2nd year out and received an AA letter. George was substituted for almost any baektield po- sition. He will he of great help to next year's team. Freshmen Harry Spackman-Ileft Taekle-lst year out and an AA letter. VVith the 'opening of seliool the aetivi- ties opened up in a big way. too. livery or- ganization had its president. and every pres- ident was bound to make his organization the best ever. So amid a flurry of eompeti' 'tion the Girl Reserves, lli-Y, tl. A. t'.. 'Flies- pians, and all the other organizations at tl. H. S. began the sehool year l9-L4-45. The Girl Reserves under the able leader ship of their president, Mary Moulton, and their new sponsor, Mrs. VVard, started the year with a Pot lquek Supper tlots of jellol whieh was followed by the traditionally beautiful eandlelight initiation serviee in the Gym. Next day came the tl. R. informal initiation when we found out just how mneh the girls of G. H. S. depend on powder and paint. After having to look at pale faees and pigtails all day. the student body was just as glad as the miserable new members to see 'that day e-ome to an end.
