Stanley Ruck-Right Guard-lst year out and his lst Htl . Stan is a good taekle and had the weight behind him to stop many a runnerg he will probably play tackle next year. Bill Sttatrkey-Left Halfbaek-2nd year out and his lst WU . Bill is really eapable of going plaees in football next year: he is alert in barking up the line and ean always find a hole in the line 'to plow through. Sophomores Frank Jeppe-Right Taekle-lst year out and an AA letter. VVhen he got mad there was no player that could stop him George St0ne-l1'ullbaek-2nd year out and received an AA letter. George was substituted for almost any baektield po- sition. He will he of great help to next year's team. Freshmen Harry Spackman-Ileft Taekle-lst year out and an AA letter. Zawada and Bob Strong were high with 9 points apiece. Conne-aut scored their second victory over the Eagles, 31 to 35. Dick Marsh was un- able to play now because of a sprained wrist. Ray lflller, making 15 points, played a mar- velous game. Ray Chapman and Tony San- zotta play-ed their best game of the season. Jim Miller, acting Captain, was 2nd High by collecting 7 points. The Eagles showed a never die spirit in their game. The Eaglets overpow-ered Conneaut 27 to 17. Dick Strong played a hard game and was high with 12 poin-ts. The Eagles were sub- dued in their last home game by Willoughby, 55 to 33. Ray Iiller and Iiob Smith each made 10 points with Starkey and Chapman both making 4 points. Starkey has showed much improvement over his earlier games. The lilaglets were whipped 27-18. Hob Strong netted 9 points and Jimmy Johnson followed with 7. At Ashtabula, the Eagles were taken for another loss, 38 to 24. Bob Smith and Bill Starkey eaeh mad-e seven points apiece. The Re-serves lost 39-28. Dick Strong was high with 11 points. In :the last league game, Bob Smith, collecting 14 points really played a very smart game. Ray Eller, picking up 10 points, was always in there fighting.
