After taking the District 5 Championship, the Timber- wolves went on to lose out of the state tournament to Myrtle Creek 7 to 6 The first game of the season was with St Paul St. Pauls' hopes dropped at the final gun leaving Mill City a 12 to 0 victory Mill City lost the second game of the year 31 to O to the Aumsville Rangers due to a lack of pass defense The 'Wolves took to the road to bring hone a 191 0 7 victory over Gervais Trailing by one point the morale of the Mill City team went up in the second half when A1 Haas pulled down a Gervais pass to make the score 12 to 7 Verbeck on a pass play, went on in the fourth quarter to make it 19 to 7. Going on to a 20 to 0 victory over Turner the Timberwolves were ready for the big game of the year Chsmawa.
