Many ours of inTensive sTudy and work were needed To obTain The crediTs required Jr The courses. This Took four years! So why go back To school and To geT her egree? The hearTbeaT of The halau Chula schoolj is The kumu hula, a posiTion ThaT Teacher John Topo- linskiknows well, As The kumu hula for The presfigious Ka Pa Hula Ha- waii, lvlr. Even as a social sTudies Teach- er, Tops' exiended his love for his culTure in his Hawaiian hisiory class.
