He also exTracTed viTal informaTion from refugees while he was in Germany. Yes, he served his counTry well. His name is Creacy . . . Don Creacy. AlThough noT an agenf in The Technical sense, Mr. Creacy worked in a milifary operafions group CMIGJ. On duTy near FrankfurT, Germany, Corporal Creacy had The job of exTracTing informaTion from The refugees who managed To cross The Iron CurTain. He also helped in updaTing inTelligence abouT locaTions of milifary slTes in Germany. Many Times, The refugees would have suffered exTreme emoTional dis- Tress from The loss of family and loved ones, and Mr. Creacy would have To geT The required informafion wiThouT being harsh. I heard some really sad sTorles abouT families being separaTed and sons geTTing shoT - iT was really hard. There was a more cheerful side To his job, however. During his off-duTy Times, Mr. Creacy would go To Paris, France To enjoy The USO clubs There. EnTering The club, he would flash his idenTificaTion card. While inTelligence operaTives had The inlTials Ml on Their card, Mr. Creacy's card had MIG on iT. Because The inlTials Ml broughT special TreaTmenT, he would cover The G wiTh his Thumb while showing his card To The doorman.
