Considering The amounT of disadvan- Tages placed againsT Them, The Team did very well. The boys managed a few good wins, such as The I5-0 bIowouT againsT Waipahu, buT The Team had Their share of defeafs. However, in spiTe of The losses, many players feIT They acTualIy did beTTer Than expecTed for a firsT year Team. Todd lseri besT summed up his feelings by declaring, I Think iT was be- cause our Team had a IoT of hearT ThaT we made a suc- cessful season ouT of iT. The Team's spiriT was very high for all Their games and ir' The fuTure They expecT To dc much beffer Than This year. The coaches were com- mended on Trying very hard. I Think iT was The coach's hard work ThaT made a big difference, was Gavin Ta- kenaka's sTaTemenT. De- spiTe jusT sTarTing a new Team, adjusTing To The new hours of pracfice, and The absence of a player, Andy Padilla, whose sprained an- kle kepT him from a few games, mosT of The players agreed iT was really worTh The Trouble.
