Sensor Class History September, 1955, a tlme of apprehensron for frfty one shy and, perhaps, scared freshmen Durrng the frrst few days of our nme months as freshmen, we vxewed M T H S and rts tradrtrons wrth awe and respect We started to functxon as a un1t wrth the electron of class offrcers They were Joe Reeves presrdent Ted Doud vrce-presxdent Jacqullme Arnold secretary Br11Dav1s treasurer and Dean Morgeson Stu dent Councrl member Our class queen candrdates for homecomrng were Chrrstme Luecke and Drane Zachgo We also selected Roger Schmohe and Frank Perry as krng candrdates Roger was crowned krng We were also proud as punch when our lowly class of freshmen had Jackre Arnold and Judy Frerrchs elected second team cheerleaders Mr Goodman, Mr Prersol and Mr Modlmger were glven the responslbllrry of gurdrng our class through the formative months of rts freshman year When It came to extra currrcular actrvxtres, we were well represented rn sports, band chorus and the school clubs Sophomores' Experts on the functrons of M T H S Well perhaps we dld assume a lrttle when we thought of ourselves as experts, but at least we were sophomores rn 1956 Our class offrcers were Julme Duls presrdent Brll Davls vrce presrdent Janet Lehmann, secretary Fox, sergeant at arms Marcra Redeker reporter Julme Duls and Chrlstme Luecke were our candrdares for Homecomrng queen We won second prrze wrth our float In the Homecommg parade The St Valentme s Day dance we sponsored was a huge success Mr Heggen Mr Coodman Mrss Sells and Mrs Johnston were the sponsors and advisors of our class of frfty In scholarshrp arhletrcs and other actxvmes our class proved to be second to none September 1957 we had reached the thnrd plateau rn our lnfe as hlgh school students We were Jumors' Forty four strong Our class offrcers were Dale Brutlag, presrdent Gerall Fox vrce presrdent Gary Schroeder parlramen tarran Sherr1ll Heeren treasurer Janrce Lauterbach secretary Harland Schroeder sergeant at arms Judy Frerlchs reporter The class rmgs were now an essentral part of our wardrobe H Durmg the year we had charge of Homecommg and we had our Prom, Fascmatron On May 27 1958 we bade farewell to the semors Now our class was enrltled to the responsrbrlrtres and prrvrleges whrch go wlth the post of semor Clen Decker 84 Sons CDon and Chuckj MILFORD SALES COMMISSIOIN COMPANY MILFORD ILLINOIS Darly Hog Market Lrcensed 8t Bonded for Your Protectxon Lrvestock Sale Every Thursday Fastern Order Buyers of Hogs 8.
