Richard Allen Carolyn Brewer Dolores Brutlag Donald Buhrmester Gene Callahan Phyllis Collins SENIOR CLASS HISTORY I recall the spring of l9L7, when the graduating Eighth grade classes from around Milford, and of course the Milford Grade School graduating class, were asked to meet in the Gym of the High School one day soon after school was out. The question Wwhyn dashed in all our minds, until we heard the rumor that we were going to practice our graduation march J After practice and after the confusion was over each girl and each boy headed his own way--just waiting for fall to come when they would become high school students. Now, -fall is here and we thirty-three bashful Freshmen began our first year at M. T. H. S. As the first weeks were set aside for organizing, we waited until later to elect class officers. With the help of our sponsors, Miss Alderson and Mr. Turnbaugh, we elected Gene Callahan, President, Ivan Cox, Vice President, and Phyllis Beatty, Secretary. Our student council members were Bob Hix and Carolyn Brewer. In October we also chose Queen candidates and King candidates for the Homecoming Dance. The Queen candidates were Phyllis Beatty and Rosanna Hawthorne. Bob Hix and Don Hodge were King candidates.
