The Mu Sigma Phi has just spent one of its most fruitful years in its history at the school. The frater- nity is open to all members of the senior class. The faculty advisors this'year were the very capable Mr. Bud Rosenbaum and Mrs. Ross. The Grenfell Committee, named after Sir Wilfred Grenfell, eminent english Medical Missionary to Labrador has had one of its most successful years in the school's history. The Grenfell has outstripped last year's weekly assembly drive records and was able to add many more needy organizations to their already numerous list. The Committee has already sent funds to Milford's Boys Village, Care, The Christmas Seal and Salvation Army Christmas drives, nity excelled in its tireless efforts to obtain the class rings by midyear. The boys however received their rings in time for the Midyear prom, something which has not happened for a good number of years. The job of ordering the flowers and the distribution of them was also very ably done by the members of the fraternity. the Humane Society, the March of Dimes, the Red Cross, and many more needy organizations. The Committee was very well piloted by Mr. Pearson, faculty advisor, Howie Pashman and Joe Levine, chairman of each semester respectively and Warren Ross, treas. The membership is entirely voluntary and the members deserve hearty congratulations for a job well done.

The Milfordian, under the faculty directorship of Mr. Bud Rosenbaum and Mr. Roche has put out a series of newspapers that will take their place highly with those of past years. Due to the efforts of Ronnie Grunwald, editor, Lewis Cohen and Lloyd Delman, associate editors, Ralph Sachs, sports editor, Alan Stolz, photography editor, Howie Pashman and joel Rottman, business managers, the Milfordian has brought some excellent news to the Milford students. During the year, Ronnie Grunwald, Lewis Cohen, Al Eidelberg, Howie Pashman and Stewart Robbins represented the school by attending the Eleventh Annual High School Forum on Secondary School Publications sponsored by the Herald Tribune at New York University. The forum consisted of many helpful lectures in putting out a school newspaper delivered by prominent men in their individual fields which proved of great help in making the Milfordian a big success this year. The formation of the first stamp club in Milford's history was originated under the capable leader- ship of Lewis Cohen. The club took the interest and imagination of the student body with striking force. Inside of a few weeks the potential members elected Lewis Cohen, president, Ralph Sachs, vice president, and Nelson Leirner, treas. The club had a very successful year and shows a promise of being one of the most interesting extra-curricular activities in future Milford years.
