955 Class llnsiory 1959 In the fall of 1955 Marllyn Martln Dorothy Morfltt Kay Blgham Verna Belm B1ll Noble and Ga1l Shlvers entered hlgh school as Freshmen Mrs Arthur Jones was our class sponsor We had a lot of new exper1 ences that year Our Freshman 1n1t1at1on was pretty bad but we all llved through lt The year passed by qulckly for our class Beverly Morltz and Joe Baker Jo1ned the 6lass our Sophomore year Kltty Currler Jomed us m1d term and remalned to f1n1sh her Sophomore year Mrs Reese was our class sponsor We started earmng money for our class fund by selllng popcorn at the basketball games Durmg our Jumor year we had no new StUGCIILb to em un LU our brass We prepared the Junlor Semor Banquet and the theme was Tw1l1ght Tlme ' The class had a lot of fun decoratmg for the occas1on We were also very successful 1n our operatxon of the snack bar durmg the year Ulr1ch Mathls was the only new student to JOIN the class our Semor year Ulr1ch was born ln Germany and attended school there untll 1957 Mr Arthur Jones was our class sponsor We all looked forward to the Semor Trlp and of coursie Xto the thrlll of recewmg our d1plomas I I 1 fs 1' I . x. . .
