The Mill Wheel, a member of the National Scholastic Press Association, witnessed its ninth successful year dur- ing l956-57. The school newspaper was supported largely by the Student Council. Shirley McGaha was editor-in-chief and Miss Mary Childs was the sponsor. This year's Mill Wheel staff and the iournalism class, the largest groups ever to work on the paper, were proud of its tradition and worked hard to build and maintain school spirit through this publication.
