At her school, Obersohule Am Waller- ring, she took French, English, and Latin. When she returns to Germany, she will have completed thirteen years of school. When she was asked about her impression of Milford, Ricky stated: I think it's a won- derful school. The kids, so far as l know them, are awfully nice. Next year Ricky will take an examination before graduation in Germany, and then, she plans to study FOREIGN EXCHANGE Understanding is the keyword to whole- some relationships, In the modern age in which we live, it is essential for countries to understand each other. This being true, what better way is there of building trust and friendship than through the youth? This theory has been given life in the form of a foreign exchange program. This pro- gram uses, as its foundation, the schools of the nation. This year, Milford has taken up the cause and is doing its part to strengthen the bonds of international un- derstanding and bring about world peace. ln the fall of 1955, a committee headed by Judy Nussbaum and sponsored by Miss Mary Childs, formulated the Foreign Ex- change Program for this year. Since this was a new venture in our school, it aroused the interest and cooperation of the faculty, the student body, and the community. medicine. if Franco Millich is from Alessandria, Italy.
