Many of last year's varsity team members were once more active in the i957 season. They included: Pat Lee, pitcher, Annette Warren, first base, Betty Edmonston, third base, Willie Christian, center field, and Barbara Maier, left field. No yearbook is the work of an individual, or even a small group. There have been many hands in the Milestone pot, all working for the same result: a good book. We hope that we have achieved this aim. lt is impossible to individually thank everyone who has helped me to put this book together. l would, however, like to extend my thanks to my committee chairmen, and to their committees, and to my officers, Tammie Siegel, June White, and Sally Ferguson. l would also like to thank Mr. Schluderberg and the entire faculty not only for their constant willingness to help us wherever posssible, but also for giving us classtime to work on the book. Also, many thanks to Mr. Sidney Schultz of H. G. Roebuck and Son, Inc., for his ever-available help and constructive criticism, and to Mr. Albert Sgro, who has kept a stern but necesssary eye over our finances.
