Radio Club Under the direction of Miss Mary Childs, the Radio Club aids those who are interested in acquiring their licenses as radio amateurs. Another purpose of this club is to establish an amateur radio station here at Milford. Learning how to tune in far-away sta- tions is a great challenge to the mem- bers ot the radio club. Sitting: F. This is the familiar call of our Stage- crafters, the school's unsung heroes. They provide and main- tain sound and lighting equipment for all school functions. They also contribute their services to the P. T. A. and other outside organizations which hold programs at our school. The club consists of nine boys who are supervised by Mr. Homer Works. Miss Case lends a helping hand. C hemislry Club The Chemistry Club, founded tour years ago, is sponsored by Mr. Ray Jacobs. The club is limited to only those students who in the past or present have chemistry. The maior ob- iective ofthe members is to stimulate their interest in science. The Chemistry club is a member of the National Science Club of America. Mr. Meyers, sponsor, V. Stansheld, J. Warren. M. Gnagy, B. Clay. N. Silverman. W. Talbott, A. Fell, S. Fink, E. Wheat. G. Turley. The library club has been organized for those interested in library work as a vocation. Miss lven Case, sponsor, assists the members in learning how a library operates, how books are bought, and how to give book talks. Jones at the Esso Retinery during one of their tield trips. ssembly Club This year the Assembly Club, under the capable sponsor- ship of Mr. Jesse Myers, has presented the school with a variety ot entertaining and educational programs. These have included the Christmas Pageant, plays, speakers, talent shows, and awards programs.
