Dance Club Members of the Dance Club learned new dance steps and variations of the standard steps under the supervision of Mr. Harry Brown. As one of their proiects this year, they presented an assembly which was thoroughly enioyed by the student body. G. Langllere and D. Treat. J. Williams and D. Turley, P. Krieger and H. Molotch, S. Caschetta and D. Boblih. The newly organized French Club has given its members a thorough understanding of France and its people. Games, filmstrips, and books present a clear look at French civiliza- tion. The club corresponds with French teenagers and a French family. Jones, listen as Miss Hinman explains how to hold o tennis racket. Chess Club Checkmate! Any person in the Chess Club will recognize this as the cry of victory. Keen competition was set up in this club which was sponsored by Mr. Harold Lott. lO0 Officials Club ln the Officials Club, sponsored by Miss Jean Shelley, girls learn all the rules of the different sports. On Intramural night they assist by ofticiating at the games among the four grades. Tennis Club The green tennis courts at Milford are constantly in active use by the Tennis Club. The club is under the direction of Miss Gilda Hinman and its main obiective is to teach the rules of tennis, which are then put to use on the courts. E. Golden. R. Wills rack their brains 'trying to outwit each other in a chess game. Mr. Lott sponsored -the club.

The club is limited to only those students who in the past or present have chemistry. The maior ob- iective ofthe members is to stimulate their interest in science. The Chemistry club is a member of the National Science Club of America. Mr. Meyers, sponsor, V. Stansheld, J. Warren. M. Gnagy, B. Clay. N. Silverman. W. Talbott, A. Fell, S. Fink, E. Wheat. G. Turley. The library club has been organized for those interested in library work as a vocation. Miss lven Case, sponsor, assists the members in learning how a library operates, how books are bought, and how to give book talks. Jones at the Esso Retinery during one of their tield trips. ssembly Club This year the Assembly Club, under the capable sponsor- ship of Mr. Jesse Myers, has presented the school with a variety ot entertaining and educational programs. These have included the Christmas Pageant, plays, speakers, talent shows, and awards programs.
