I Mrs. Jean Svirsky Mr, Howard Trostonoff Business Department Begins Change Typing for teachers was Kathy Mangano's task. The Business Education Department revised its curricu- lum to include more instructional media in its courses. The courses became more student oriented, directed toward more individual instruction. The department began its program of change from mechanical to electrical equipment. The Data Processing course was open to more students because typing was not a prerequisite for taking the course. The tapes aided students in com- prehension and Huency, stimulated interest and added variety. Under the direction of Mr. John Hogan and Mr. James Attardo, the Foreign Language De- partment joined French and Spanish students together for a French and Spanish International Club. The students raised money and went on a trip to Spain and France for two weeks during the April vacation. This trip helped many stu- dents to improve their fluency and vocabulary through everyday usage. Taking part in a French Halloween skit, Nancy Robitaille and Diane Woodis true identities are revealed. ,fu
