Class President Says Porting Words The time for departing has arrived altogether too quickly for most of us. Although, many times, we have taken a carefree attitude toward our education, we all realize, now, its significance in helping us to survive in a world of success and failure. In our four short years of training here, each of us has attained some strength of character that should last through life, Whether we develop this foundation, making ourselves useful, purposeful citizens or throw it away, allowing ourselves to waste not only our own abilities but the guidance and instruction of our fine faculty, is up to us. As president I urge you to make the right choice, remembering that this choice is not just a personal one. What you are, must inescapably be a reflection on your school and class. We will recall the social and athletic activities that we have participated in and attended, but above everything else, we must remember and put to use the knowledge gained through our own efforts to live in harmony and peace. I feel sure you will, as will I, look back with a smile on the problems we faced here together, seem- ingly so important at the time, and actually they were important, for in learning to face them, we, on our own level, learned to face life. In parting, I can only express the sincere, humble wish that you will all enjoy a full and prosperous life.
