CLASS PROPHECY It is graduation night, 1969. Two of the graduating seniors are talking as they stroll through the halls for their final glimpse of M. H, S, Something is being said about the class of '59, Come along: if we step softly, maybe we can hear what their discussion is all about. Remember Dixie Scott? She now lives in Michigan and is the mother of twelve children, lt is no wonder she won the title, Mother of the Year I'm sure you remember John Young, the boy who was so crazy about baseball in high school. He is now star pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ted Beer went on to medical school and is now a doctor in a large Chicago hospital. Ionell Judkins, who wore braces in high school, became so interested in teeth that she became a dentist. Steve Baumgartner bought his uncle's station and now owns a monopoly of Standard stations throughout the United States. Barbara Hagans now owns her own beauty salon and specializes in French hair styles. Steve Biller is now the sales proprietor of Macy's Department Store in New York. Eleanor Carlo, the former Eleanor Williams, just released a new record entitled Bring Back The Sack It is well on its way to a million seller. Of course you remember Denny Rumfelt, Iva Krull and John Schultz. Denny is a band instructor, Iva an English teacher and John a coach. All are teaching at M, H, S. Twilla Morehouse, the girl who was so interested in science, recently won the Nobel Prize for inventing a dehydrated water pill. Two of the class made names for themselves in politics. Eugene Lange is now trustee of Van Buren Township, and Nelson Beer is Secretary of Agriculture in Washington. Sheila Troup married a big executive in New York and owns seven Cadillacs, one for every day of the week, Nancy Templin, the girl who was always rodding her dad's car, entered the Speedway Race at Indianapolis and captured the trophy, Lowell and Loyal Vanderveer's great uncle left them an abandoned gold mine in the West. They dug a little too deep, struck oil, and they are now the two richest men in the United States. You remember Judi Ahrns, the girl who always dressed so neatly? She is now taking Dior's place as a fashion designer. Bob O'Blenis, who lived at Milford Lake, bought up all the properties and is the owner of Bob's Resort, Linda Young is now dean of girls at Indiana University, Norm I-lunsberger is now a professional boxer and won his bout last night at Madison Square Garden. Bob Wemple and his talking bass violin are currently making a tour throughout the United States. Junior Bleile, who used to match pennies between classes, is now a professional gambler at Las VegaS. Ian Fuller started a Lonely Hearts Club and now writes a Dear Jannie column for the Milford MaiL Gloria Hollar, once school reporter, decided to write novels, and just published her latest edition in the Hasting Series, Sharon Dewart, who had great singing ability, comprised her own musical show, While travel ing with her show, she met her husband, a concert pianist.
