He was driving the new Speed Kingf' designed by that world-famous mechanic, Junior Chupp. Many of Mr. Ruch's associates say that his racing days began when he was a student in Milford 4IndianaD High School. And here-'s an interesting bit of news: That famous matrimonial bureau in Reno, Nev., operated by Miss Clara Graff, has turned the tables again, for Miss Graff married one of her most persistent correspondents. Churchill Dow11s: That world-famous horse, Man of Jury, has added another star to his career by winning the Kentucky Derby yesterday. He was ridden by the famous jockey, Rod l11cCreary. FLASH: Gerald Miller, who lives southwest of Milford. Indiana. has invented a mashed pota- to. Mr. Miller said he had been working on this project ever since he left high school. Mr. Miller will make a trip to Washiligton, D. C. to converse with the Secretary of Agri- culture about his new invention. .- Mr. and Mrs. .lack Mason, of Syracuse, Indiana, became the parents of quintuplets last evening. As you all know, these are the first quintuplets to be born in the United States. The quints and their mother are reported to be doing fine. Mrs. Mason is the former Patricia Kline of Milford, Indiana. New York: Harry Doty. the well-known professional basketball player, who has been spending his vacation in this city, has signed up with the Zollner Pistons. Mr. Doty stated that he was anxious to get back to a team in his home state of Indiana. Opening tonight at' The Diamond Horseshoe will be the well-known girls trio, Ellen. Peg, and Pat.
