Concert Band Last year five of the Class of 1964, James Berg, Sharon Gano, Mary Gottsche, Jack John son and Patricia Morey signed the National Honor Roll. This year four more members signed, Connie Miller, Darlene Siefkin, Judy Trebbien and Jim Youde. Mr. Gunderson presented the Senior Leadership Awards to Sharon Gano and David Clark. The Iowa Bar Association Award was presented to Sharon Gano. Russell Clifford received the Arion Award in Music. Four awards were given for ratings in the state speech contest. I ratings went to Mary Gottsche, Mike Rohwer and Jeanne Derner. II ratings went to Cheryl Johnson. The Bausch and Lomb Award in Science was presented to Jack Johnson. The recipient of the DeKalb Award was Ken Wilson. The Home Economics Award was presented to Mary Gottsche. The Mathematics Award went to James Berg. Following this, Mr. Gunderson presented the Senior Honor Group: 13. 25 and upy Sharon Gano, Mary Gottsche, Jack Johnson and Patricia Morey. The climax of the evening was the presentation of a check by Kenneth Winslow in behalf of the Seniors to be used towards the purchase of a trophy case for the high school.
