ained no new class members n seventh grade remember all of the times that we were ousted from health class and English Once, while Eddie was standing in the hall after be ing forced out of health class Mr Curtis could be heard walk ing up the stairs Eddy opened the door of the class room and sneaked behind the teachers desk After Mr Curtis had passed, he returned, unseen by either teacher, to his spot 1 the hall Mr Fox returned to be our Junior high principle for eighth grade Our class con tinued to have its previous en rollment number twenty one We lost during the summer months Teddy Bol and Mareb Milla However Alta Hunt and Barbara Taylor were in our eighth grade class to take their place We re call the noon that one f the students parents visited Mr Fox' We also remember the speedy trip that both the parents and Fox made enroute downstairs and the torn white shirt worn while Mr Fox taught our literature period when the first day of school approached in September of 1950 we were now in high school Being just Freshmen d1dn't bother us for we felt that were indeed lucky to be a pamt of the Milford High School student body We gained many new class mates Bob Benzkofer, Robert Berning, Dick Long, Mac Mitchell Carol Grim Karen Morisky and Delores Hanson composed our new class membe s Our class enroll ment in the Freshman year in cluded the following names Pgul Anderson,Ph1l1p Antisdel, Robert Benzkofer,Robert Bern1ng,Russell Dodge, Denny Green, Ray Holle, Dick Long Darrell Marchand Chuck Pearson, Smith Schuneman Eddie Sternberg,0rl1n Trojahn, Leonard Tuel,Mac M1tche1l,G1or1a Emerick Carol Gr1m,Eun1ce Hake man Jo ce Henry Alta Hunt, Vir- ginia acobs Dixie Jansen, Mar- garet Kinkade Karen Horieky. Violette Ann Paul Barbara Tay lor, Marvel Truax and Delores Hansen Our class was sponsored by Mr Mekemson W remember when Phip pounded a nail through a cabinet for a radio Smitty had built in manual training Smitty cried before discovering that the nail was a trick one After finishing our Freshman year, we were told that we would now be sophomores After school had begun, we realized that grade Our class now had reached its peak in size, for lt now included thirty two students New members included Carol Meyer, Bob Moritz, Nancy Nims, and Harold Simpson Our sponsor was Miss Jurgensen Our one act play was alot of fun, and were proud of our record homecoming Our skit won a num ber I rating, and our float won a II rating Our Junior year will stand out in our memories as one f the most successful and busiest Our sponsors were Mr Moll and Mr Spidle When school opened, we had several new mem- bers Mary Berning Theresa Schott Dora Morgan and John Drexler were with During the school year Marcia Farris and Joe Jones Joined our group but both left after a month's stay.
