The Senior Class once again captured first with their float, 'Good Luck Pioneers and the Juniors took second. Due to the raindrops during the parade that night, the crowning of the Queen was post-poned until the Homecoming Dance. At 10:50 that night, before the Dance started, the Queen and her Court made a grand entrance escorted by football boys. Co-Capta1n,Denny Green crowned Queen Marvel before the first dance and then the Queen and the Court started the first dance with their chosen escorts. The dance proved to be very successful with the music of Jim Luchtel. There was a large crowd and even though the weatherman d1dn't agree with us, the Homecoming of 1953 will linger in our memory for sometime to come. as ,QQ N -V .475 H 6.9 ' , w M ,s ,X , rg., 9' - , V . , T Q ,' , K V K V F, I f ff r, x My ' 1 r N' 4 'b ,M ,Ve -. 2,9 I , , I I C q O 9 I 9 I I I , .
