We, the class of nineteen hundred and eighty-seven, dedicate this one hundred and third edition of Oak, Lily, and Ivy to Mr. Paul Dufault. He has provided us with unyielding support and friendship as both a guidance counselor and a teacher. We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to Mr. Dufault.

We would like to thank: Mr. Ridolifi and Mrs. Doherty were there when we needed their support and advice. They helped us through our frustrations and understood when the staff started to wear paper on their heads and talk in monotones. They kept things running smoothly and kept us on track. But it wasn’t just their direction that made this yearbook work, it was their friendship, something that can’t be replaced. For the past three years Mr. Gundez has helped our class not only raise money but gain a sense of class spirit. Behind his soft-spoken manner is a man who is capable of handling whatever is thrown at him, a man who will and has persevered. Thank you for bringing our class together. 4

To the Class of 1987: We started our Freshman year not knowing what to expect from High School. We were shorter, we laughed at different things, and we were more self-centered, (few of us dared to cut in the lunch line.) We were also conscious of the need to feel important. Then we shed that year like an old skin. Three more years passed, each Filled with its own share of friendship, frustration, pain, and good times. Senior year now stands as a thin film between childhood and reality. It brings with it, the future and a new sense of freedom. We are faced with a challenge! Will we reach out and accept this freedom or will we just hope someone else can give it to us? Some of our hands tremble but with the freedom comes the privileges and responsibilities of a new life. We are ready for the challenge. Our four years at Milford High will remain behind us as a foundation upon which we can rest and draw strength from. When we need hope or peace of mind we will always have our High School memories to fall back on. Good Luck to the Class of 1987 — The Editors 6
