Mr. Patrick Griffith In January Mr. Patrick Griffith came to Milford from England; he and Mr. Robert McGee of the English Department exchanged jobs for several months. We hope the experience was as benefi¬ cial and as educational for Mr. Griffith as it was for the students and faculty at Milford High School. 9

Mr. Joseph J. Tosches The class of 1982 speaks for years of Milford High School students and staff in wishing Mr. Joseph J. Tosches a long and happy retirement. Mr. Tosches served Milford High School for forty-six years, including 12 years as a teacher in the Mathematics and Science Departments, nineteen years as Principal of the school, and fifteen years as Administrative Assistant. His career of service and unselfish dedication to the school and students of Milford is un¬ matched by any other member of the Milford School Department. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Boston University Graduate School, Mr. Tosches has been recognized for his expertise in many areas. He maintained affiliation with representative professional associations, and has been a frequent source of information both in Milford and in surrounding com¬ munities. He was completely involved in all of the innovations and transitions demand¬ ed by a school during his many years at Milford High School. He was noted for being a student of curriculum, and an expert planner for growth, but above all a master of detail in the creation of functional school organization patterns. Mr. Tosches ' rapport with his co-workers, fellow administrators, teachers and students gives stature to his preeminent qualifications. His exemplary personal character and gentlemanly concern for all are remembered by all with whom he has had contact. 8
