There are lots of things in my mind That I suppose I may never find But the farther away they might seem I may someday find them in a dream. Although my wish may not be so real And may not show anyone else quite how I feel It will be there running through my mind like a stream There is nothing like the thought of having my own special dream. Paul Fitzpatrick The one dream I think we all dream of over and over again, is the dream to be happy forever . . . Dreaming is for everyone, Big and little it’s so much fun. Children start when they’re so small, Dreaming what they’ll be and all. Looking into space you’ll stare Even though there’s nothing there. A child’s dream is to be that certain person Who is looked upon in a very special way. Boys dream of firemen or one who goes out of space, Maybe even the president of the United States. Girls dream of being a nurse or like their mom, Who always try to be so calm. Children forever dress up and pretend, But, they know someday pretending will end. They always want to be someone on T.V., Superman, Wonderwoman, whoever they see. Dreaming is lots of candy and toys Always made for girls and boys. Dark and scary, colorful and bright, A child dreams from day to night. A child’s dream holds many fears, And often enough it will bring those tears. Tears for love and security to hold. Security and love which will never grow old. As a child grows he’ll have the time To reach the dream he wants to find. When I grow up 1 dream to have Lots of love and never be sad.
