C3 What is a Dream? Who I am and where will I go Is a dream people would like to know? A dream to catch and hold forever Is to love tomorrow forever and ever. A successful life is another dream, Fogged in your mind it can’t be seen. For independence is the greatest drive Finding out you’re really alive. Someday a reality your dream will become, The dream that was always number one. Dreaming is joy in every day, Being able to give your love away. To be kind to those who live apart, A special kindness in every heart. Finally: a dream is to know you’re always free To be the things you want to be. by Lisa Mazzone

A child’s dream is to be that certain person Who is looked upon in a very special way. Boys dream of firemen or one who goes out of space, Maybe even the president of the United States. Girls dream of being a nurse or like their mom, Who always try to be so calm. Children forever dress up and pretend, But, they know someday pretending will end. They always want to be someone on T.V., Superman, Wonderwoman, whoever they see. Dreaming is lots of candy and toys Always made for girls and boys. Dark and scary, colorful and bright, A child dreams from day to night. A child’s dream holds many fears, And often enough it will bring those tears. Tears for love and security to hold. Security and love which will never grow old. As a child grows he’ll have the time To reach the dream he wants to find. When I grow up 1 dream to have Lots of love and never be sad. Children’s dreams are exciting and great, But don’t forget, dreaming is never too late. by Lisa Massone
