It may look similar to the Milford Cinema but it ' s the new David I. Davoren Auditorum. The rows of orange seats face a great stage. This auditorum will be very useful for class assemblies and other school activities where there was never enough room for everyone. Another attraction is the Home Economics Rooms. These rooms are always busy with activity. The Cooking Room is decorated with gold appli¬ ances and wooden cabinets. The Art Room is colorfully arranged with pictures and different art projects. 19

A long tiled corridor joins the academic wing of the building with the Occupational wing. This area of the school is an eye-catcher. The equipment used in refrigeration, electronics, carpentry, and air con¬ ditioning is so magnificent, that it allows the stu¬ dents to learn with the most modern materials available. Three sky-lights enhance the beauty of the lobby outside the auditorium and cafeteria. The new for¬ mat of the cafeteria is especially appealing to the students. The addition of the snack bar makes it pos¬ sible for the students to buy hot chocolate, cookies, and donuts during their free mods.

How can one explain the back and lower level of the school?You can say that it houses the Music Department, Phys. Ed. and Child Development, but that wouldn ' t be enough. The chorus and band fi¬ nally have a room big enough to house the instru¬ ments along with the students. And, of course Mil¬ ford High ' s new pride and joy is the huge new Olympic swimming pool, complete with underwater window and spectator ' s gallery.
