The Media Center is the heart of Milford High School. Students come here for studying and re¬ laxation. A beautiful view of the Media Center is seen from the gallery above. On this gallery, many rooms are located, including the Career Information Center and reading rooms. The doorway off the Media Center leads to the Teacher ' s Resource Center. Here, each teacher has a small area for a desk, and can be found here during free time. Directly outside, in the back of the Media Cen¬ ter, is the courtyard. This is an area of controversy, because it is the location of the Designated Smok¬ ing Area.

Also in the academic wing are two activity rooms. Both these rooms are greatly used. One houses the Scarlet Newspaper, the other our own OLI staff. Di¬ rectly across from the activity rooms are two large office suites. On the first floor is the Housemaster ' s Office and on the second, the Guidance Office. 13

Covered Walk The area to the right of the main lobby is the Ad¬ ministration Wing. It houses the Principal ' s and Vice-Principal ' s offices. Another very attractive stairway leads to the Community Science Center. The Lecture Hall is lo¬ cated to the left of this stairway.
