Many students sought the aid of School Nurse, Mrs. Healy, as were plagued by an occasional headache or stomach upset. A re¬ assuring smile and perhaps a dismissal slip greeted us, and suddenly we felt better already! Mrs. Healey’s tender loving care” has cured many a Milford High School student. Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Davoren, enjoyed many advantages by having his of¬ fice in the high school building. All choral group rehearsals or activity rehearsals or performances could be previewed by him. Mrs. Kalunian, Mrs. Ahearn, and Mrs. Cur¬ ran were helped by efficient office girls who spent their study periods easing the secre¬ taries’ work. Mr. Davoren’s secretaries, Mrs. Kalunian, Mrs. Ahearn, and Mrs. Curran gather around him. 19

The swinging sounds of Jingle Bell Rock” played by the band or of My Favorite Things” sung by the Senior Choral Group were the work of Music Director Mr. Di- Donato. The senior girls will never forget the smile on his face as they performed at the Christmas assembly. Mr. Brennan added the psychedelic” touch to our Art Department this year. The art students found themselves in a feature story in a Worcester newspaper. Students vied for a position in his esteemed Ad¬ vanced Art Workshop.” Dr. DeSalvia counseled many of us in regard to our futures as we toiled over our college applications or our inquiries for jobs. Dr. DeSalvia also served as Athletic Director and as advisor to just about anything with which we approached him. Guidance Director Harold Moran’s office was never empty, as an endless stream of students sought his advice. Mr. Moran faith¬ fully informed us of upcoming College Board Tests and available employment. Many an hour of Mr. Moran’s was spent as we discussed our anxieties over college fees, ap- pications, and interviews. His light burned late into the hours long after school had closed. Music and Art are a part of Milford High School students as taught by Mr. DiDonato and Mr. Brennan. 18 Discussing the future of one of our prospective graduates are our Guidance Directors Dr. DeSalvia and Mr. Moran.

We would hate to have to count the num¬ ber of absent slips that Mrs. Visconti and Miss Ramelli have handed out to us in the past four years. The same applies to the number of pieces of bread buttered for us by the cafeteria staff. The credit risks they took on lunches charged” was sometimes a great one, but we usually paid the next day. Mrs. Visconti and Miss Ramelli serve as efficient secretaries for the Guidance Office and Principal’s Office respectively. 20 The Cafeteria Personnel — Mrs. Cugini, Mrs. Rose, Mrs. D’Allessandro, Mrs. Lombardi, Mrs. Aga- ganian, and Mrs. Delfanti.
