These seven outstanding men our school committee contribute a great deal to Milford’s Public School System: Mr. Thomas Cullen; Mr. Francis Fitzpatrick; Superintendent David I. Davoren; Attorney Pacifico DeCapua; Mr. Robert McGinnis; Mr. Ernest Lombardi, Chairman; and Mr. Michael DeCaesare. SCHOOL COMMITTEE Superintendent David I. Davoren has dedicated many years to the Milford School System.

During the summer of 1965 a new name was added to the faculty list when Miss Mary Cronin changed her name to Mrs. Georgi. She took for better or for worse our dedicated, Mr. Anthony Giorgi, in holy matrimony. This year also saw several of our graduates of recent years return to take their place on the other side of the desk. Mr. Leonard Oliveri, Mr. Melvin Rota, and Mr. William Atherton joined our faculty in 1965. To exemplify the ecumenical spirit Mr. David Hayes, a graduate of St. Mary’s came along to join us. Mr. Brown and Mr. Brennan, the latter a member of the Sein Fein, added to the luster of our teaching staff. 9
