1 SENIORS It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. It -was the season of darkness. It was the spring of hope, we had everything before us, we had noth¬ ing before us—” In short, the period was like the present period. The Class of 1862, the first class to graduate from Milford High School, faced a future torn asunder by Civil War. We, the Class of 1962, like to think that we can face difficulties and dangers at least as well as they did. A future overshadowed by possible Nu¬ clear Warfare, but burgeoning with promises of unbelievable opportunity makes Dickens’ words more prophetic than ever. We don’t know what the future will bring, but we promise that we will be doing our share.
