fyosiew id Ill publishing this, the sixty-fifth edition of the OAK, LILY, and IVY, we are working toward one goal: the creation of a lasting memory in the minds of all the members of the graduating class of nineteen hundred and forty-nine. It is our hope and desire that during your hours of reminis¬ cence you may find within the covers of this hook those personally treasured scenes and achievements that you cherished in your high school days. It is the hope of the Yearbook Staff that this hook will he a worthy successor to those that have come before, and that it will serve as a record of the events and accomplishments of the era which we consider to he the “BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES.” %
