One can. it he so chooses, acquire a full cultural and social life outside the normal school routine. If someone has a feeling for drama, he has t he opportunity to trv-out for any one of four plays produced by M.H.S. annually. To im- prove one's skills for the future K.F.A.. Y.I.T.A., or D.K.C.A. are available. Kvents ranging from informal dances, to s|x»rts events, to the prom are open to the stu- dents. Only through people can these programs survive. Through participation, one can become a well rounded in- dividual. who can accept responsibility and strive for ac- complishment in all that he does.

In our lives, we will always have to accept the [towers and positions of others. In school we have to follow the guidelines of our teachers in addition to those of our parents. We have to follow the instructions of officers when joining organizations. The rules we follow in school, prepare us for the rules we will have to accept in the future. Being able to accept authority in others, helps us to discipline ourselves.

 isdom is not something obtainable simply through books and tests. Personal experiences are a great importance in developing one mentally. Toget her the knowledge of school and the wisdom of experience help to make contentment within a person. One becomes more aware of these around him. and his relationship to them. As a person comes t«» know himself more clearly, he becomes a more important and involved part of society.
