Some things are not missed until they are wasted. This applies to our physical and mental inheritances. All of us know that our bodies must be properly nurtured, exercised, and used. At Milford High School five periods of Health and Physical Education are offered each week to encourage among other things proper ex- ercise, diet, and care of our physical capacities which have so much to do with mental successes. How can anyone think it is smart to use drugs for hallucinations or abuse himself through excesses of any kind knowing full well that without a healthy mind and body he will be greatly handicapped? Recently a speaker in our community remarked, “There are few Juvenile Delinquents, but there are many Delinquent Parents.” Many thanks to the Class of ’68 for collating the MILFORDian which will bring us many fond memories in the future.
