This was Milford's FFA Banquet for 1980 The FFA begins the new year with the election and installation of the new officers at their annual FFA Banquet. Some activities of the chapter this year was a softball tourney, hog wrestling tourney, minature golf, Valentino's, fruit sales, FFA-FHA dance, Christmas caroling, National Convention, State Convention, FFA and Vo-Ag contest, truck-rack ride and bonfire, Leader- ship camp, two-story house torn down, shed built, County fair, State fair, National Band and State Band, Warball after meetings, canoing down the Niobraria River, and trap shoot contests. The FFA was very active and hopes to continue to follow traditions. The Milford FFA tore down this house. 0

D E This year’s Spanish Club was a successful and fun-filled one for all members. They celebrated Christ- mas with a party complete with deli- cious food and fun games. The year was also highlighted with competi- tion at the Foreign Language Fair on March 17 at the University. All Spanish II members participated in at least one event and everyone did an excellent job — even Lanny! All in all it was a good year.

Along with various community and family pro- jects, they put on a Soup Sup- per, a Traveling Bake Sale, a Daddy Date Night, and a Fam- ily Night. The F.H.A.’s major goals were that of the commu- nity and of the family. At the District level, they received the Traveling Trophy Award which is given to the best Chapter. At the State level, they received the Honor Chapter Award which is the highest award given. The F.H.A. chapter has many accomplishments to be proud of. Good Luck in the FUTURE!!!
