Barbel arrived in August of 1976. She stayed with the Gerald Gemer family. Barbel graduated with the senior class. She was involved with Pep Club, Track and Photography through tire year. She indicated that the people were very friendly and easy to get acquainted with here. Schools differ some according to Barbel. She finds tire school work simpler than in Germany. Barbel indicated that alot more school related activities here keep you closer to school. She enjoyed the choice of classes which German schools do not provide. Barbel also enjoyed American food, her favorites were chili, hamburger, com- on-the-cob and brownies. Along with other things Barbel missed the mountains and the large accumula- tions of snow for skiing during the winter and the forests in the spring and sum- mer for taking walks. All in all Barbel enjoyed her trip to America and Milford very much. 6 Milford Donut Shop 603 1st St. Crestview Home Inc. Milford, Nebraska 7 8 ?Mjc Aezmzjss Ever think about it? How you dreaded school all summer, but when it gets right down to it, there’s just a hint of excitement. The excitement of new classes, new teachers, new faces. By di- viding activities into seasons we have tried to show the purpose of each sea- son at Milford High. These seasons blend together to make our high school years. And each year at MHS has its purpose also. To- gether these years prepare us for our future. 94 Well, it looks like we made it. It’s hard to believe that it’s all over. The Seniors have said their last good-byes, the underclassmen look for- ward to summer and being one year closer to graduation and the teach- ers draw a sigh of relief. It’s over now, but we’re moving on to greater things. Our high school years will never be forgotten, they’ll remain as happy memories always.
