Their only loss was to Bertrand in the second round of the Class C State Tourna- ment. The Eagles were rated No. 1 all season in both the Lincoln Star-Journal and the Omaha World Herald. In the final ratings, Milford was rated 3rd in the Omaha World Herald and 4th in the Lincoln Star-Journal. Much effort from Coach Bargen, brilliant performance from the whole team, and fine support from the cheerleaders and fans made the 1972-73 basketball season a successful one. Forever. . . Behold, I make all things new .. .Revelation 21:5 Throughout this annual, I have tried to carry out the theme in the following ways: The Then is portrayed by the old-fashioned cover, the endsheets, and the season division pages which picture a 130-year-old oak tree in antique frames. Now is represented by the students and their activities. Forever is depicted by the butterfly representing new life. We, too, will be bom again and will find Everything is Beautiful forever.
