The Student Council makes and enforces all general school laws and promotes better spirit throughout the school. Two students from each class were selected to serve as Student Council members. The average attendance at the meetings during the year was thirty. There were nine Green Hands initiated as members of the chapter after the meeting on October 8, 1951. The F.F.A. participated in the Homecoming parade in October, their float winning second place. In December, the F.F.A. and the F.H.A. sponsored a cooperative dinner for their parents. The faculty and Board of Education mem¬ bers were also invited. During the year, the chapter sponsored a pest-eradication contest with the losing side paying for eats at a fishing party this spring. The top three boys in the contest received prizes. To earn money for their treasury, the chapter members sold ads for the football and basketball schedule cards. OFFICERS President .
